Hydroponic Red Amaranth (Lal Chaulai) – Fresh from Our Noida Farm
Lal chaulai (red amaranth) is a traditional Indian leafy green with striking red-purple leaves and a mild, earthy taste. It is rich in calcium, iron and vitamin C, and is loved as a quick sabzi, in dal and in stir-fries.
We grow it hydroponically in a climate-controlled facility in Sector 59, Noida, using RO-purified, low-TDS water and a precisely measured nutrient solution instead of soil. No soil means no mud, grit or soil-borne contamination, we use no pesticides, and every pack is harvested only after you order.

How to use
- Chaulai sabzi: sauté with garlic, green chilli and a little coconut or besan.
- Dal chaulai: add chopped leaves to moong or toor dal.
- Stir-fries: toss with garlic and soy sauce for an Asian twist.
- Parathas: mix finely chopped leaves into the dough.
Storage tips
Keep unwashed in a box lined with a dry kitchen towel in the fridge. Rinse just before cooking. Best within 3–5 days.

Do I need to wash it?
